In-service course Day 13 (28/01/2023)

 It was the day of much awaited day of our local tour .Visited all the famous places of Chandigarh City including Rock Garden, Rose Garden, Bird Park and Sukhna Lake. All the participants enjoyed songs, dances and a lot of jokes were cracked .

Inservice course Day 12 (27/01/2023)

Celebrated 74th Republic Day of India with full spirit and enthusiasm. The day started with ‘flagship programmes of KVS’ by Mr.Jugal Kishore, AC KVS RO Chandigarh. Learned the objective of flagship programmes of the KVS and Government of India.  From 11 am we watched the ‘Pariksha pe Charcha’ programme by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi in which he suggested students to prepare exams without tension. He also suggested observing digital fasting every week and advised teachers to give attention to the questions raised by the students and try to answer later if you are unable to do so instantly.

INSERVICE COURSE -DAY 11

 We celebrated our country’s 74th Republic Day. Sh. Mukesh Kumar DC and Director of KVS ZIET Chandigarh. Participants presented cultural items which depicted the great cultural heritage of our country

Mukesh Kumar Sir took a session on inclusive education with examples and explanations

In the afternoon we studied how to create magazines and books with the bookcreator, a web tool. We experimented the same in the computer labs

INSERVICE COURSE DAY 10

 Communication skills are the most important quality one must possess. Madam Aparna Ray’s session on an effective communication skill session improved our confidence to become an effective communicator

Sexual harassment of women at workplace is a burning topic and everyone must aware about that. The session by Sh. Jugal Kishore, AC KVS RO Chandigarh was very useful to us.

The afternoon session was enriched with the presentations by the participants in various topics. Evening we spent in the computer lab for completing our assignments

 Today we got an insight in to the different methods and techniques to be followed in libraries to improve the reading habit among children.We enjoyed alot in the session on personality development.we got an idea how to balance your personal life and work life.

 We also learned to create a virtual library in Wakelet. 

IN-SERVICE COURSE DAY -4

 Learned more about NEP 2020. This session helped us to learn the changes in the education field from pre primary to research level.

The session on different web tools to be used  by S LFaisal Sir helped us to learn and clear our doubts on various tools like padlet,wakelet, SoundCloud , etc.

We curated audiofiles using sound cloud.

IN-SERVICE COURSE DAY -3

 In today's first session honourable DC Sh.Mukesh Kumar explained about different types of leadership and the different qualities that an administer should possess. This was followed by a motivational session by Tharun sir. Sir taught us how to balance out work and ethics to be followed in work place.

A session on e-Granthalaya by Sunil helped us to learn more about this, and how to migrate it to eg4.

Session on WordPress by Faisal sir taught us how to create a blog in WordPress.

IN-SERVICE COURSE DAY -2

The session on Library Policy by Sh.S L Faisal was very much useful to us as he mentioned about the administrative and technical works of library. Mentioned about how to register in Vidyanjali portal, how to procure magazines etc.

The session on school safety gave an insight to us as sir  explained the safety measures to be taken in school, some areas which we usually neglects.

The session by adesh sir on how to create portfolio in blogger was very much useful. Sir taught how incorporate html code in this.

IN-SERVICE COURSE DAY 1

The in-service course started with the inauguration

by honourable DC.Sh.Mukesh Kumar. Sir gave an informative session on change in in attitude of librarians.This session will help us to fulfill our duties and responsibilities in school. Afternoon session we learned about the creation of digital portfolio by SL Faisal sir. This session will be very much usefull to us to maintain records in our library.
